VietJet Air Announces New Check-In Procedures at Indian Airports Starting July 31, 2024

VietJet Air has announced new check-in procedures at all Indian airports, effective July 31, 2024, to enhance operations and passenger convenience. Passengers must complete check-in at designated counters two hours before domestic flights and three hours before international flights. To expedite the process, the airline encourages online check-in via their website and mobile app, available from 24 hours up to one hour before domestic departures and up to two hours before international departures.

Baggage drop-off counters will close 60 minutes before domestic flights and 90 minutes before international flights. VietJet Air stresses the importance of arriving at the airport well in advance to accommodate security screenings and avoid delays. Passengers must present a valid photo ID and ticket confirmation for domestic flights, and a valid passport and any necessary visas for international flights.

To assist with the transition, VietJet Air will provide additional customer service representatives at Indian airports and support via their hotline and online chat service. These new procedures aim to ensure a smoother, more efficient travel experience for all passengers.
