Southwest Airlines Introduces Stellar Pretzel Braids Onboard

Southwest Airlines has introduced Stellar Snacks' Maui Monk Pretzel Braids as its new inflight salty snack. Starting today, passengers on Southwest flights will find these pretzels, which feature a buttery texture combined with Maui onion seasoning and a hint of monk fruit sweetness.

This change is part of Southwest's ongoing enhancements to its inflight services, which also include faster WiFi, onboard power ports, and larger overhead bins.

According to Bill Tierney, Vice President of Customer Experience & Digital Experience at Southwest Airlines, the new pretzels aim to enhance the inflight snack offering with a mix of sweet, salty, and crunchy flavors.

Stellar Snacks' Maui Monk Pretzels are vegan, dairy-free, nut-free, soy-free, kosher, and non-GMO project verified. They also feature artwork by emerging artist Caro Clarke on the packaging.

Southwest now serves Stellar pretzels on flights over 175 miles. The airline's full food and beverage menu is available on southwest.com and through the Southwest Inflight Portal.
