KM Malta Airlines Adds Direct Palermo Flights to Summer Schedule
KM Malta Airlines has announced a new direct air route linking Malta with the Sicilian city of Palermo. The connection will form part of the airline’s Summer 2026 schedule and is due to begin on 30 May 2026. The service will operate between Malta International Airport and Palermo Falcone Borsellino Airport, strengthening travel links between Malta and Sicily.
The airline confirmed the route will run three times per week, giving passengers regular options to travel between the two Mediterranean destinations during the summer period. Flights are scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. According to KM Malta Airlines, Palermo has not previously been served by direct flights from Malta, making the route a new addition to the airline’s growing network.
