Starting 1 December, Emirates will introduce a third daily service between Dubai and Mauritius. The added flight answers rising demand for the island nation and offers travellers more choice when planning journeys. With an early morning departure and late evening return, the schedule helps visitors claim extra daylight on arrival while maintaining straightforward connections in Dubai.

With the third daily service passengers can expect the following improvements:

  • EK709 departs Dubai at 06:55, arriving in Mauritius at 13:40 local time
  • EK710 departs Mauritius at 18:30, arriving in Dubai at 01:10 the next day
  • The service uses a Boeing 777 300 ER with First Class, Business Class and Economy Class cabins
  • An extra daily departure provides an additional scheduling option for travellers
We would like to thank the Mauritian authorities for making an additional daily service possible. We have been proudly serving Mauritius since 2002 and our double daily A380 services have been a major success and contributor to the growth of the country’s tourism industry. The additional daily service on our wide-body Boeing 777 aircraft will enable a more than 30 percent increase in capacity on the route, while also providing additional flight options for leisure and business travellers to seamlessly connect to flights.

Blue Bay Marine Park sits less than ten minutes from the airport, its clear shallows revealing coral gardens visible from glass bottom boats. Just north, the Mahebourg waterfront borders a sheltered harbour lined with restored warehouses, cafés and long views toward Lion Mountain. These nearby coastal spots give newcomers an easy first glimpse of Mauritian marine life and everyday culture without lengthy transfers.

A short boat ride from Blue Bay leads to Île des Deux Cocos, a small reserve where calm coves host gentle snorkeling and a restored nineteen‑twenties villa opens for day visits. East of the runway, Pointe d’Esny beach offers a one kilometre sweep of pale sand bordered by casuarina trees, its lagoon ideal for an unhurried swim before sugar cane fields and the distant ridge of Lion Mountain complete the horizon.

Three daily departures let visitors tailor itineraries around local events or changing weather. Extra seats reduce peak season crowding and shorten airport queues, easing the journey from booking to boarding. The broader timetable also improves the chance of same day onward flights through Dubai, trimming layovers and overall travel time. For holidaymakers and business travellers alike, the new frequency makes reaching Mauritius simpler and more predictable.
