Delta Delays Tel Aviv Flight Restarts Until Spring and Summer
Delta Air Lines has extended the suspension of its New York JFK–Tel Aviv route as the conflict in the region continues to affect airline operations. Flights departing New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Tel Aviv will remain paused through 31 March, while the return service from Tel Aviv to New York is suspended through 1 April. The airline says the decision reflects ongoing safety considerations.
The airline has also postponed the return of its Atlanta–Tel Aviv service. Flights scheduled between Atlanta and Tel Aviv will now remain suspended longer than previously planned. The route from Atlanta to Tel Aviv is paused through 4 August, while flights in the opposite direction from Tel Aviv to Atlanta will remain suspended through 5 August.
Customers holding tickets on the affected services will receive cancellation notices beginning on 14 March through the Delta mobile app and via the contact details listed in their reservations. The airline confirmed that passengers do not need to wait for these messages before making changes to their travel plans.

Even as direct services remain suspended, Tel Aviv is still reachable via connecting flights through several European and Middle Eastern hubs. London, Paris and Istanbul continue to act as key transit points. These itineraries usually take longer than direct transatlantic journeys but remain available to travellers.
