The summer flight season to Antalya has started at Bratislava Airport, with the first regular departures taking place this week. The Turkish resort city remains one of the most used destinations from the Slovak capital. SunExpress has launched scheduled services, while Pegasus Airlines is also beginning direct flights, bringing back regular connections for individual travellers during the summer period.

SunExpress returns to Bratislava after an 11-year break, having last operated flights for tour operators in 2015. The airline now offers regular services twice a week, increasing to three weekly departures at the end of May. Flights are operated using Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, marking a renewed presence of the carrier at the airport.

Pegasus Airlines is also adding Antalya to its network from Bratislava, alongside its existing Istanbul route. The airline will operate flights twice a week starting 2 May, with frequencies rising to three times weekly later in the month. Return fares start at €108, with Airbus A320 aircraft used on the route throughout the summer season, which runs until the end of October.

Summer flights to Antalya from Bratislava

  • SunExpress: 2 weekly flights, increasing to 3
  • Pegasus Airlines: 2 weekly flights, increasing to 3
  • Additional charter flights by multiple airlines

Antalya offers long beaches, resort areas and access to coastal towns along the Turkish Riviera. The return of regular flights makes it easier to reach these places without relying only on package holidays, while charter services continue to add more options across the season.

Having more airlines on the same route changes how trips can be planned. Travel is no longer tied to fixed tour dates, as tickets are available through standard booking channels. A wider spread of departures across the week also helps match trips with different schedules, whether for a short stay or a longer break. Bratislava becomes a more practical starting point for summer travel south.
