An Air India-branded plane gets stuck under a bridge, but the company has nothing to do with it. Video.

A plane with Air India branding is stuck under the Piprakoti Bridge in Motihari, a city in the eastern Indian state of Bihar. The plane once belonged to the carrier, but was sold, so now the company is not responsible for it.

The plane, according to the Independent, was being transported by truck from Assam to Mumbai, but its dimensions were not calculated. The video of the incident is being actively shared online.

The stuck plane not only sustained minor external damage, but also blocked traffic in the East Champaran area.

The Airbus A320-200 was reportedly sold in 2021, so the company's representatives have nothing to do with the accident.

It took an hour for the police to get the plane out from under the bridge, so a traffic jam had already formed. To pull the Airbus out, they had to deflate the truck's tires.

"The driver of the vehicle misjudged the height of the bridge in relation to the height of the cargo being transported by the vehicle, and as a result, it got stuck under the bridge," an officer at the scene told reporters.
