airBaltic Pauses Dubai Flights Until Late March
Latvia’s carrier airBaltic has suspended its Dubai flights until 30 March 2026 because of the security situation in the Middle East. The suspension affects services scheduled during this period. Several airlines have recently reviewed operations in the region as conditions continue to change. airBaltic said the move is aimed at maintaining safe operations while the situation affecting aviation routes is closely monitored.
Passengers whose Dubai flights have been cancelled up to and including 30 March are offered options under airBaltic’s standard cancellation policy. In addition, customers holding tickets for Dubai services with departure dates until 30 April 2026 may adjust their travel plans using several flexible alternatives designed to reduce disruption caused by the suspension.
Options offered to affected customers
Customers booked on affected flights may choose one of the following solutions:
- rerouting to any other airBaltic destination without additional fees, provided the travel takes place within the ticket validity period
- receiving an airBaltic travel voucher that can be used for future trips within one year
Changes can be arranged through the airline’s call centre or through the travel agency where the ticket was purchased.
While Dubai services are paused, airBaltic continues flying across its European network. Cities such as Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius remain part of the airline’s regular schedule. Passengers who need to change their plans can choose other destinations served by the carrier. These routes still connect travellers with many cities across Northern and Central Europe for business trips, short visits or further travel.
The airline said it is closely following developments together with national and international aviation authorities and may adjust its schedule if conditions change. For many travellers, the announcement highlights how quickly airline networks can respond to security concerns. Checking schedules before departure and keeping contact details updated with airlines helps ensure that any changes reach passengers without delay.
