TUI Points to Cheaper Last-Minute Seats
TUI Airways has pointed customers towards the Cheap Flights section of its website, where unsold seats can appear at lower prices close to departure. The latest examples focus on East Midlands Airport and popular summer beach routes. The cheaper fares are not a new route launch or a permanent sale, but a way to fill remaining aircraft seats before flights leave.

Chris Logan, TUI UK’s Commercial Director, said the strongest results usually go to customers who can be flexible with dates or destinations. The page can show late seats on routes across the Canaries, Balearic Islands, Greece, Turkey and Cyprus. TUI Airways operates through 22 UK regional airports, including East Midlands, which keeps the search useful outside London.
The deals could make several summer spots easier to reach for people in the Midlands. Menorca works well for quieter beaches and harbours, Ibiza adds old town walks, beach clubs and some of Europe’s best-known dance venues, Palma gives access to Mallorca’s capital and coast, while Lanzarote brings volcanic landscapes, beach resorts and year-round warmth into the same late-seat search.
The fares make the most sense for people who can move around dates and book quickly when a suitable route appears. East Midlands also keeps the trip simpler for holidaymakers across the Midlands, removing the need to start a cheap break with a long journey to a London airport.
