TUI Adds Three Moroccan City Breaks Beyond Marrakech
TUI has added Fez, Rabat and Tangier to its UK Morocco programme, widening a line-up previously centred on Marrakech, Agadir and Taghazout. The change gives holidaymakers more short-haul city options without committing to a resort stay, and each city offers a noticeably different kind of break. The expansion is aimed at people who want culture, coast or winter sun without a long-haul journey.

Fez offers the most traditional city-break experience of the three, with dense historic quarters and a strong focus on local crafts. Rabat is less hectic, combining a capital-city setting with the coast, while Tangier works well for visitors who want both urban sightseeing and time by the sea. Together, they widen TUI’s Morocco range beyond its established beach resorts and Marrakech.
Sightseeing options are also quite different. In Fez, Fes el-Bali and the Chouara tanneries are among the main draws. Rabat has Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah of the Oudaias, while Tangier gives easier access to Cap Spartel, the Caves of Hercules and day trips towards Chefchaouen in northern Morocco.
Prices and flight arrangements vary by date, hotel and UK departure airport, so comparing several package combinations can make a real difference. British citizens can visit Morocco for tourism without a visa for up to 90 days, while passport expiry must be at least three months after arrival.
