Aegean Coast Gets a New Boutique Stay

Kove Hotel & Spa Mykonos - MGallery Collection has opened on the Greek island’s coast, adding a 35-room boutique hotel to Accor’s MGallery portfolio. The property sits between Ornos and Korfos, giving guests access to two different coastal areas. Ornos offers calmer water for swimming, while Korfos is known for a windier, more open shoreline.
What the hotel includes
The property is aimed at guests looking for a smaller resort-style stay, with:
- 35 rooms and suites
- private beach access
- terraces, Jacuzzis or plunge pools in selected rooms
- eNa restaurant with local ingredients
- rooftop terrace overlooking Ornos and Korfos
- Cave Spa, yoga and meditation spaces
The hotel is connected to the Daktylides family, whose hospitality work on the island began in 1979. It is located only minutes from the main town, but away from the busiest nightlife areas. Opening rates start from €272 per room, per night, with bookings available through ALL Accor.
The location makes the hotel useful for travellers who want beach time without being cut off from restaurants, bars and the old harbour. Ornos suits slower swimming days, Korfos gives a more exposed coastal setting, and the main town remains close for evening plans. Guests can also book a private dawn boat trip to Delos.
This opening adds another upscale stay for visitors who want the island’s scenery, food and historic day trips without basing themselves in its loudest corners. It is not a budget option, but the smaller room count, beach access and quick reach of town make it better suited to couples, spa breaks and quieter luxury holidays.
