Warsaw Adds Direct Summer Link To Croatia’s Zadar

Wizz Air has announced a new seasonal route connecting Warsaw Chopin Airport with the Croatian coastal city of Zadar. Flights are scheduled to begin in June 2026 and will operate four times per week throughout the summer season. The launch also marks Zadar becoming a new station within the airline’s network, expanding direct leisure travel options between Poland and the Adriatic coast during peak holiday months.

The addition strengthens Wizz Air’s summer programme from Warsaw, where demand for direct seaside destinations continues to grow. The airline carried nearly 15 million passengers in Poland last year and continues expanding its network across Central and Southern Europe. The Zadar connection joins an already broad range of holiday routes available from the Polish capital, particularly towards Mediterranean destinations popular during warmer months.

The route introduces direct access to northern Dalmatia, an area known for historic coastal towns and island landscapes. Nearby national parks, including Kornati and Paklenica, become easier to reach without transfers, allowing shorter stays centred around nature, sailing or coastal exploration.

The new connection adds another straightforward way to reach Croatia’s Adriatic coast without changing flights along the way. Direct services like this often influence holiday plans, especially when travel becomes quicker and easier to organise. With Warsaw now linked to Zadar, summer trips can be planned more spontaneously, whether for a long weekend by the sea or a longer stay exploring northern Dalmatia.
