Dusit International has announced the opening of a new luxurious resort - dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives. Located on a private island, it strategically sits just a five-minute distance from Malé International Airport.

Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2024, the resort will be the first all-inclusive property in Dusit's portfolio. Alongside luxurious overwater villas and family suites, guests will enjoy various amenities, including a kids club, restaurants, a fitness center, and the Namm Spa with Thai massages.

Entertainment options will be expanded with the development of an entertainment center and conference center, both accessible to guests. Attention will be given to environmental preservation, with the resort implementing the "Tree of Life" sustainable development program. Additionally, excursions and active leisure activities will be organized for guests to explore the island's beauty and natural resources.

DusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives will be Dusit's second resort in the Maldives, complementing the existing Dusit Thani Maldives on Mudhdhoo Island in the Baa Atoll, the world's first UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The Baa Atoll Biosphere Reserve is a gem of the Indian Ocean ecosystem, known for its vast biodiversity and stunning coral reefs. Recognized by UNESCO, the reserve is home to numerous marine species, including sharks, turtles, and exotic fish.

The management agreement signing took place at Dusit Thani Bangkok in Bangkok. Company leaders expressed confidence in the joint success and high hopes for the attractiveness of the new resort to tourists.
