easyJet Fixes Prices as Summer Travel Picks Up

easyJet and easyJet holidays have introduced a new "Book with Confidence Promise" aimed at giving customers more certainty when booking summer trips. The policy guarantees that once a flight or package holiday is booked, the price will not increase. This includes protection against fuel-related surcharges, which have been a concern for travellers during periods of fluctuating costs.
The airline has also confirmed plans to operate its full summer schedule across its network, covering more than 50 million seats. Alongside this, 30 new routes from the UK have been added, expanding options for both city breaks and beach holidays. The announcement comes after a busy Easter period, during which demand for easyJet holidays rose significantly.
“Our operations remain unaffected, so customers can be confident that not only will their holiday go ahead as planned, but there will be no surprise extra payments. Now is an ideal time to book and take advantage of a range of brilliant holidays at unbeatable prices with the added security that ‘Ultimate Flexibility’ also allows customers to change their plans with ease if required."
Under the new policy, customers affected by cancellations will be offered a choice between a voucher, a refund or an alternative flight. Package holidays include additional flexibility, allowing changes up to 28 days before departure. Cancellations are also possible up to 60 days before travel, with deposits returned as credit for future bookings.
The expanded schedule and more flexible booking rules give travellers more options when planning trips across a wide range of destinations. Cities like Barcelona, Pisa and Kraków, together with coastal areas in Spain, Turkey and Greece, can now be arranged earlier and with fewer changes later. Fixed pricing also helps when choosing between short breaks and longer stays, without the need to rethink plans after booking.
The update comes as more people book trips closer to departure than before. easyJet is keeping its schedule unchanged and setting fixed conditions at the moment of booking. Prices stay the same after booking, and all conditions are set upfront. Travellers know what they are paying and what choices they have at the time of purchase, so there are fewer surprises later when planning a summer trip.
