Ukrainian polar explorers from the Akademik Vernadsky station showed whales in the Antarctic.
So far, scientists have identified more than 1000 whales. Such data helps scientists from different countries to study the migration of these mammals and the contacts between them, they said on Facebook.

It is noted that each whale has unique features by which it can be distinguished. For example, humpbacks have a tail fin. The pattern on it, like a human fingerprint, is unique.
