Gatwick Strike Threat Eases as Walkouts Are Suspended

Assisted Travel receptions are available in both terminals, with help points at bus stops, terminal entrances and Short Stay car parks. Passengers who have not booked assistance in advance can still ask for help at the airport, although Gatwick warns that late requests may mean delays. Support can include help with check-in, security, wayfinding and boarding, while some mobility equipment and medical needs must be arranged with the airline in advance.
The suspension removes the immediate risk of strike disruption on the planned dates, but passengers who rely on assisted travel should still keep an eye on the ballot outcome.
