New Direct Ski Flights from London Luton Open Access to Swiss and French Alps

Jet2.com has launched a new ski flight service from London Luton Airport for Winter 25/26, offering direct connections to Geneva. Running from 14th February to 28th March 2026, the service provides a more direct connection for travellers from the area to key ski resorts in Switzerland and France. This marks the airline’s first ski-focused programme from London Luton, aimed at providing easier access to the Alps without the need to travel to other UK airports.
Every Saturday, flights will operate under the new timetable, ideal for short winter trips and weekend getaways. Geneva serves as a gateway to several Alpine resorts:
- Tignes
- Flaine
- Verbier
- Zermatt
- Three Valleys
The resorts feature slopes for all abilities, catering to both novice and advanced skiers.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be launching our first ever ski programme from London Luton Airport. With customers now able to access the best slopes in the French and Swiss Alps, we know that snow sports fans in the region will be clamouring to book the best of the action for Winter 25/26, and ski flights are selling very well as a result.“
With the expansion of Geneva flights, travellers can also explore nearby outdoor attractions and natural highlights. Visitors can experience Lake Geneva’s scenic waterfront, hike the Rochers-de-Naye mountain trails, or enjoy the views from the Salève cable car in France. These locations allow visitors to take part in skiing, snowboarding, and other outdoor Alpine activities, blending sport with scenic views to enrich a winter holiday.
With extra Geneva services, passengers can discover the region’s outdoor highlights more easily. In Verbier, they can enjoy panoramic views from Mont Fort, in Tignes, experience the ski slopes of Piste de l’Ours, or take in the snowy peaks near Chamonix from the Aiguille du Midi cable car. Combining these accessible flights with the proximity of the destinations allows travellers to plan adaptable itineraries and take part in a wide range of winter sports and mountain activities.

Introducing ski flights from London Luton enhances travel options for UK visitors heading to the Alps for winter sports. More departure points and available flights help passengers reach their destinations sooner while providing greater flexibility in planning. For winter sports enthusiasts, the new connections make reaching popular Alpine resorts simpler, offering convenience, a variety of choices, and access to nearby outdoor activities.
