The new startup Flat Planet – what is it?

Flat Planet is a travel app featuring tours around the world. The audio content is georeferenced and available in multiple languages.

Currently, in beta, the app is already available for download, as mentioned by Ukrainian entrepreneur Dmytro Dubilet on his Telegram.

Flat Planet is designed to enhance your travel experience by allowing you to explore virtually. The app currently offers 120 tours in 45 cities across Europe and the United States. While the startup team is currently creating these tours, the vision for the future is to transform it into a platform where users can upload their own content and earn money, similar to Spotify.

Alongside audio tours, the team plans to develop content focusing on museums and galleries.

Dmytro Dubilet explains, "We are offering museums and galleries a partnership to produce content for visitors. We produce it for free, translate it, and provide voiceovers in multiple languages. Visitors will be able to listen to audio and read information linked to QR codes or exhibit numbers."
