UK Travelers to Gain Four New easyJet Routes in 2026

In 2026, easyJet will add new summer routes that connect several regional airports in the UK to popular European destinations. The airline's new schedule will improve short-haul connections across the continent, giving people who live outside of London more direct travel options. The announcement shows that there is a growing need for regional flights and is another step toward rebuilding capacity after travel patterns in Europe have changed a lot in the past few years.
New routes, schedules, and fares:
- Birmingham – Rome Fiumicino: from 5 March 2026, four flights per week (Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays), fares from £32.99.
- Edinburgh – Ljubljana: from 4 April 2026, two flights per week (Wednesdays, Saturdays), fares from £37.99.
- Bristol – Reus: from 25 June 2026, two flights per week (Thursdays, Sundays), fares from £34.99.
- Bristol to Thessaloniki: Starting June 27, 2026, there will be two flights a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays) with prices starting at £34.99.
These routes will only run during certain times of the year when travel is high in southern Europe.
The new services will link UK travelers to a mix of historic capitals, beach getaways, and cultural centers. Rome is still one of the most popular cities in Europe because of its old buildings and Mediterranean food. Ljubljana is Scotland's only direct air link to Slovenia. It has an old town by the river and is close to Slovenia's lakes and mountains. This opens up new opportunities for nature-focused tourism.
Reus is close to Spain's Costa Dorada and has beaches, theme parks, and the city of Tarragona. Thessaloniki is a gateway to archaeological sites and beach resorts in northern Greece. Both places are great for people who want to visit southern European cities that aren't as busy and are cheaper. The many options show that easyJet is still focused on making travel easier and connecting people in different regions.

Extending the operating season will minimize flight transfers, shorten overall journeys, and provide travelers with greater flexibility when planning their summer vacations. These new routes also highlight a growing industry shift toward increasing short-haul operations from the UK’s regional airports. As airlines adjust to changing travel patterns, easyJet's 2026 routes show that people are once again interested in leisure travel and that mid-sized hubs are becoming more important across the UK.
