Iberia Flights Drop to €24 — but Most Travellers Must Wait

Iberia’s late-summer sale is live, but most travellers cannot book the headline fares yet. Access is limited to Iberia Club members until 30 August, including anyone who joins during the presale. General booking opens on 31 August and runs through 23 September 2026, covering selected trips across Spain, Europe, the Americas and Asia from autumn 2026 into spring 2027.
The €24 headline applies to selected one-way domestic flights from Madrid, with Palma de Mallorca among the cheapest examples. European fares start at €29, while announced long-haul prices include Washington from €170, San Juan from €258 and Tokyo from €462 one way. Toronto, Orlando, Monterrey, Recife and Fortaleza are also included, although promotional seats are limited and live prices can rise.

The cheapest economy option is Iberia’s Basic fare. It includes one cabin bag up to 10kg and one personal item, but no checked bag or advance seat selection. Changes are possible for a fee and voluntary refunds are not allowed. Anyone considering Christmas, New Year, Easter or holiday weekends should check Iberia’s sale calendar first, because many European peak dates are excluded.
Package offers need a separate comparison because they are not the same product as the €24 flight-only fare. The packages highlighted in the campaign include checked baggage, so they may cost less than adding luggage and accommodation separately. Before paying, compare the final fare after baggage and seat fees and confirm the permitted travel dates and current price on Iberia’s official sale page.
