easyJet to Leave Oslo as Final Route Is Axed
easyJet is withdrawing from Oslo Airport after deciding to end its remaining Manchester service, bringing its presence at Norway’s main airport to an end. The airline had already dropped routes linking Oslo with Paris Charles de Gaulle and Milan Malpensa, leaving Manchester as its final connection. Direct Manchester–Oslo flights will still remain available with other carriers once easyJet disappears from the route.

easyJet expanded at Oslo in 2024 with services to Paris and Milan, but both were later withdrawn before Manchester became the final route. It is also leaving Harstad-Narvik in September, which will make Tromsø its only remaining Norwegian airport once the Oslo withdrawal is complete.
The change will not remove the direct link between Manchester and Oslo. Norwegian and SAS continue to sell non-stop flights, keeping the Norwegian capital accessible for city breaks and winter trips. Oslo’s Opera House, MUNCH museum, Akershus Fortress and waterfront remain reachable without a connection, although losing one airline means fewer choices when comparing departure times and fares on the route.
Anyone holding an easyJet booking close to the withdrawal date should check the exact flight status before buying another ticket. If easyJet changes or cancels the booking, review the airline’s offered options first rather than arranging a replacement immediately. The main effect after October will be reduced competition between Manchester and Oslo, which could matter most on popular weekends, holidays and other dates when direct flights are in higher demand.
