Berlin

This is the capital of the country in the broadest sense of the word. It is here that you can feel the life of the country and see its cultural and historical diversity. In Berlin, you should visit such iconic places as the Brandenburg Gate, the Berlin Wall Memorial, and the glass dome of the Reichstag building. In addition, you can get to all the interesting places thanks to the excellent public transportation network. To have access to the most important sights, it is recommended to stay in the Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg or Kreuzberg district.

Hamburg

This seaside city is the second largest in the country. It can offer boat trips along the Elbe River, fresh seafood at local markets, and strolls through the old streets. It is worth staying in one of the central districts, namely Rathaus and Jungfernstieg, or in St. Pauli and HafenCity.

Munich

This is the capital of Bavaria, which impresses with its authenticity and desire for renewal. It is here that you should visit the interesting Deutsches Museum of Technology and Science, admire the local parks and try the famous Bavarian beer. The best option would be to stay in such neighbourhoods as Altstadt or in the lively Schwabing and Heidhausen.

Nuremberg

This city in the heart of Bavaria is full of history and a special culture. If you go here, be sure to visit the local castle, the Documentation Centre Nazi Party Rally Grounds, and take a leisurely stroll through the Old Town. In addition, you should definitely try the local meat specialties. It is better to stay here in the Old Town area or in St. Lorenz.

Heidelberg

The city of universities is also worth a visit. The local architecture transports you to a fabulous, historical and at the same time comfortable atmosphere. It is worth visiting the Philosophers' Alley and the University of Heidelberg, which is the oldest in the country. Traditionally for Germany, tourists are recommended to stay in the Old Town or in the lively Neuenheim district.
