easyJet extends Cagliari Basel route to winter season boosting travel opportunities
easyJet has announced that its flight route between Cagliari, Sardinia, and Basel, Switzerland, will now be available throughout the entire year. Previously limited to the summer months, this connection will operate during the winter season as well, from November 2025 through March 2026. This change is designed to keep travel routes open year-round between Sardinia and mainland Europe, offering steady options for both holidaymakers and business travelers.
During the winter period, easyJet will operate two flights weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, compared to up to four weekly flights in summer. Basel Airport functions as an important hub for passengers from Switzerland, France, and Germany, among others. By offering direct flights year-round, travelers now have more flexibility to plan trips outside the usual busy season. The adjusted flight schedule reflects seasonal demand while maintaining essential connectivity throughout the year.
