Lufthansa Group and Airbus are marking a significant milestone this fall with the celebration of 25 years of Help Alliance, Lufthansa's dedicated charitable organization. To commemorate this achievement, a special Airbus aircraft will take to the skies adorned with a unique "Helping Hands" livery, symbolizing the collective efforts of employees, volunteers, and partners who have supported the organization’s mission over the past quarter-century.

The Help Alliance was established in 1999 by Lufthansa employees who wanted to make a tangible difference in the world. Over the past 25 years, the organization has grown into a vital part of Lufthansa Group’s corporate social responsibility efforts, funding and supporting over 160 projects in more than 40 countries. These projects focus primarily on education, vocational training, and the empowerment of disadvantaged communities, particularly children and young people.

The new "Helping Hands" livery features a design that showcases a network of handprints stretching across the fuselage of the Airbus aircraft, representing the thousands of people whose lives have been touched by Help Alliance’s initiatives. The handprints, contributed by Lufthansa employees, partners, and beneficiaries of the charity’s programs, symbolize the unity and shared purpose behind the organization’s work. This striking visual reminder of the airline's commitment to social responsibility will be visible to passengers and aviation enthusiasts worldwide.

The aircraft, set to enter service this fall, will fly on various routes within Lufthansa's extensive network, spreading the message of hope and solidarity across the globe. The "Helping Hands" livery serves not only as a celebration of the past 25 years but also as a call to action for continued support and engagement in the years to come. Lufthansa Group aims to inspire both its employees and passengers to contribute to the ongoing efforts of Help Alliance, whether through donations, volunteer work, or simply by raising awareness of the organization’s impact.

In addition to the special livery, Lufthansa and Airbus are collaborating on a series of events and campaigns to highlight the achievements of Help Alliance and to promote its future goals. These include fundraising initiatives, awareness campaigns, and community engagement activities that will take place throughout the year. The goal is to build on the momentum of the 25th anniversary to expand the reach and impact of Help Alliance’s projects, ensuring that more individuals and communities can benefit from its support.

The 25-year milestone of Help Alliance reflects Lufthansa Group's broader commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. As one of the world’s leading airlines, Lufthansa recognizes the importance of giving back to society and using its global influence to drive positive change. The partnership with Airbus on this initiative also underscores the role of collaboration in achieving long-term social impact, as both companies work together to support meaningful causes around the world.

As the "Helping Hands" aircraft embarks on its journey, it carries with it the stories of countless individuals who have been empowered by Help Alliance's projects. This initiative not only celebrates a significant anniversary but also serves as a powerful reminder of the difference that can be made when businesses, employees, and communities come together with a shared vision of making the world a better place. With this special livery, Lufthansa and Airbus are not only celebrating the past 25 years of Help Alliance but also setting the stage for continued commitment and action in the future.
