easyJet, the Official Airline Partner of the Eurovision Song Contest, has taken its support to new heights this year by hosting a special flight for Eurovision superfans. This unique celebration in the skies took off from London Gatwick, destined for Copenhagen, in a flight filled with sequins, songs, and Eurovision spirit.

On board the flight, Eurovision enthusiasts, including members from the General Organisation of Eurovision Fans (OAGE) and various celebrity and influencer superfans, experienced a festive atmosphere unlike any other. The flight featured a themed baggage drop, fancy dress, and a talent show at 40,000 feet, hosted by Drag Race star Tia Kofi.

In addition to the inflight festivities, over six million Brits are set to host Eurovision parties this week, according to a study by easyJet. The airline's involvement extends beyond the skies as it operates over 10% more seats to and from Copenhagen compared to last year, facilitating 40,000 visitors from across Europe traveling for the contest.

The research also highlighted the popularity of Eurovision-inspired costumes with D’nash, Brotherhood of Man, and Jedward leading as the top choices. This year's UK entry, 'Dizzy' by Olly Alexander, despite skepticism about its chances due to past performances, has garnered significant support from fans.

easyJet’s Director of Cabin Services, Michael Brown, emphasized the airline's pride in connecting cultures and celebrating the world’s largest live music event. As the contest week approaches, easyJet's initiative showcases a perfect blend of travel and entertainment, setting a festive tone for what promises to be an unforgettable Eurovision experience.
