England will keep free admission to its national museums for all visitors, including overseas tourists, after the government ruled out introducing separate charges for international guests. Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy confirmed the policy on 29 September, ending months of debate over tourist pricing. The decision covers the 15 museums and gallery groups sponsored by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, including the British Museum, Tate and National Gallery.
