British Airways Expands Heathrow–Cincinnati Flights for 2027
British Airways is increasing flights between London Heathrow and Cincinnati for summer 2027, giving UK travellers more flexibility on the only non-stop link between Britain and the Cincinnati region. The route will move to daily service during two parts of the season, while retaining a near-daily schedule outside those periods. The expansion follows three years of operation since the route launched in June 2023.
When the Extra Cincinnati Flights Will Run

- Fares: currently listed from £617 return in economy; prices can change.
- Booking: flights are on sale within British Airways’ 355-day booking window; later autumn 2027 dates will open gradually.
Most services leave Heathrow in the afternoon, with overnight returns from Cincinnati arriving in London the following morning. The extra Thursday flight creates the daily schedule during the two peak periods. British Airways remains CVG’s only non-stop link to the UK, avoiding a domestic US connection for travellers heading directly to southern Ohio or Northern Kentucky.
The route also works as a starting point for trips beyond downtown Cincinnati. Northern Kentucky lies immediately across the Ohio River, with Covington and Newport close by, while the region is promoted as an official gateway to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Visitors can also reach Over-the-Rhine, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and Cincinnati’s riverfront attractions without building a separate US flight into the trip.
More frequent flights make short US trips easier to fit around fixed dates, particularly during the daily-service windows. CVG also offers public transit, rideshare and rental-car options for onward travel, with buses departing from the baggage-claim level. Outside the daily periods, the route remains six times weekly, so travellers with rigid dates should check the operating day before booking hotels, car hire or onward connections.
