Cardiff Expands Summer Escapes With Five Ryanair Routes
Ryanair has confirmed its Summer 2026 programme at Cardiff Airport, with five routes scheduled during the main holiday season. The network includes Dublin alongside leisure destinations Alicante, Faro, Málaga and Tenerife. Several services will run more frequently than last year, strengthening direct international departures available from Wales during one of the airport’s busiest travel periods.
Additional flights are planned on Alicante, Dublin, Faro and Málaga services, increasing departure flexibility across the summer timetable. Dublin will operate daily, rising to twice daily on selected dates in October 2026. Seats are already on sale through Ryanair’s booking channels, with lead-in fares starting at £29.99 for one-way travel.
Cardiff Airport described the Dublin route as a key link supporting regular movement between Wales and Ireland for both work and short breaks. At the same time, continued flights to southern Europe keep established holiday routes active through the peak season. The updated programme follows sustained demand for direct departures without travelling through larger UK airports first.
