Jersey Gains Direct Bordeaux Flights for Summer 2026
Loganair has announced a new direct seasonal route between Jersey and Bordeaux, adding another European destination to the island’s summer schedule. The service will run twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays between 19 June and 5 October 2026. The new connection strengthens links between the Channel Islands and south-west France, with one-way fares starting from £79.99 or €89.99 depending on direction.
The airline confirmed that the Bordeaux service forms part of its wider seasonal programme from Jersey, which also includes Norwich, East Midlands and Paris Charles de Gaulle. These routes expand options for both leisure and business travel during the peak summer period. Loganair develops its network of regional routes connecting the UK, the Channel Islands and several European cities through direct flights.

Bordeaux is located in one of France’s best-known wine regions and is recognised for historic streets, riverside areas and cultural venues. Direct flights make it easier to visit vineyards across Nouvelle-Aquitaine or continue towards the Atlantic coast. Improved summer connections also support travel between Jersey and major European cities, creating additional opportunities for short stays, longer holidays and regional trips.
The new service adds another direct link between regional airports and established European destinations. Direct summer flights avoid connecting flights and reduce time spent changing planes during the trip. A larger number of non-stop options gives more flexibility when planning trips across Europe, especially in peak months when popular flight times fill quickly and suitable schedules are harder to find.
