airBaltic will keep its Vilnius–Berlin service running in the 2026/27 winter season, turning the route into a year-round link between Lithuania and Germany. The decision keeps a direct option in place after the summer schedule, giving passengers a steadier connection for city breaks, work trips and visits to friends or family without needing to connect through Riga, Warsaw or another hub.

The winter extension makes Berlin easier to plan beyond the usual summer travel window. Visitors can use the route for museums, concerts, Christmas markets, trade fairs and onward trips across Germany. For German travellers, Vilnius stays reachable for old town weekends, food trips and Baltic connections, while Lithuania’s winter season becomes less dependent on indirect flights.
