Gdańsk to Vilnius Flights Cut Journey Time to Just Over an Hour
Wizz Air will launch a new direct route between Gdańsk and Vilnius on 2 May 2026, adding a short connection between Poland and Lithuania. The service will run four times a week and tickets are already available, with prices starting from 79 PLN one way. The route is expected to support both leisure and business travel between the two countries.

- Arrival in Vilnius at 18:30 (local time)
- Return from Vilnius at 19:05
- Flight time: around 1 hour 5 minutes
The journey takes just over an hour and runs without a connection. The schedule covers both midweek and weekend travel, which can suit short trips as well as longer stays, depending on travel plans.

Both markets are strategically important to us, as demand for leisure and business travel is high and continues to grow, while economic and cultural exchange between the two countries is becoming increasingly visible."
Ahead of the launch, tourism representatives from Lithuania presented the country’s travel offer at Gdańsk Airport. The event was organised with Lithuania Travel and Go Vilnius, with participation from airlines, travel agencies and hospitality providers. The presentations highlighted that Lithuania remains less familiar to many visitors, despite growing interest and rising visitor numbers.
Vilnius is now easier to visit for a short trip. The city includes a UNESCO-listed Old Town, the Užupis district with its artistic character, and the former Lukiškės prison, which now hosts cultural events. It also has a well-known food scene, with 27 restaurants listed in the Michelin Guide, along with nearby places that can be reached quickly from the city centre.
The flight cuts the journey to just over an hour and runs without a connection. It adds a practical option for cross-border trips, whether for a few days or longer stays. With regular departures already set in the schedule, the connection may become part of routine travel between Poland and Lithuania if demand remains steady.
