Iberia and Pegasus Airlines have entered a codeshare deal connecting Spain, Türkiye, and Latin America. Iberia passengers can now reach more cities in Türkiye, while Pegasus customers can fly to additional destinations across Spain, Portugal, and Brazil. The link between Spain and Türkiye is now more straightforward, reducing transfer times and creating smoother journeys between Europe and Asia.

Codeshare flight highlights:

  • Iberia passengers: Madrid - Istanbul (SAW), with onward access to Izmir, Kayseri, Ankara, Antalya, Dalaman, Bodrum, and Adana via Pegasus.
  • Pegasus passengers: Madrid - Palma de Mallorca, Gran Canaria, Ibiza, Malaga, Seville, Lisbon, São Paulo, and other Iberia destinations.
  • Airports: Transfers between Iberia (Terminal 4) and Pegasus (Terminal 1) at Madrid-Barajas; a free shuttle links the terminals, with schedules timed to keep connection times short and boarding smooth.
  • Both airlines now share check-in and ticketing, so passengers can fly on one booking and have their bags transferred automatically to the next flight.

The partnership broadens where both airlines fly and keeps connections straightforward. Iberia adds new links across Türkiye through Pegasus’s routes, while Pegasus passengers can continue their journeys on Iberia flights around Europe and Latin America. Together, they close the gap between regional and long-haul travel, giving passengers more choice when planning multi-stop journeys between Europe, Türkiye, and South America.

The agreement makes it easier to combine destinations within a single ticket, creating smoother journeys between southern Europe, Türkiye, and beyond. Travel between Spain and Türkiye will now be simpler, with direct links and easier transfers through Madrid. The deal gives Spanish passengers smoother access to cities like Antalya and Bodrum, while Pegasus flyers can reach more European and South American destinations through Iberia. Better flight timing and simpler terminal changes are expected to increase travel for both holidays and work.

“This agreement with Pegasus Airlines reinforces Iberia’s commitment to offering our customers more and better travel options, connecting Spain and Latin America with Turkey and expanding our codeshare network. It also benefits Pegasus customers, who will now have easier access to several destinations we operate."
María Jesús López Solás, Chief Commercial, Network Development and Alliances Officer at Iberia

This collaboration underlines how airlines are finding practical ways to bridge regions once connected only through major hubs. By linking Iberia’s strong presence in Spain and Latin America with Pegasus’s extensive Turkish network, the deal opens the door to more flexible travel across three continents - strengthening ties between Europe, Türkiye, and Latin America in both leisure and commerce.
