Starting March 31, 2024, Turkish Airlines will expand its flights to and from four destinations in Italy with a total of 13 new routes.

Currently, Turkish Airlines operates flights from Istanbul to eight cities in Italy, including Milan, Rome, Venice, Bologna, Naples, Bari, Catania, and Palermo. The newly expanded service will increase the number of flights to and from Bologna, Palermo, Bari, and Naples, Business Traveler reports.

The number of flights from Istanbul to Bologna will increase from 18 to 21 per week, and flights from Palermo will increase from four to six per week. The number of flights between Istanbul and Bari will increase from five to seven per week, and flights to Naples will also increase from 12 to 18 per week.

Recognized as one of the strongest airline brands in the world and one of the leading airlines in Europe, the expansion aims to strengthen Turkish Airlines' commitment to meeting growing demand and expanding its offer of travel destinations.

The airline currently operates flights to 129 countries, and the newly added flights will add to the current list of 42,600 connecting options.

As TravelWise previously reported, Turkish Airlines has added a new service by launching the TK Wallet app. The app will now allow customers to make payments and receive refunds for tickets more easily.
