Top honors in Palm Beach: these hotels are among the most luxurious
A vacation in Palm Beach is a luxurious immersion in a tropical paradise with exquisite resorts, white beaches and crystal clear sea. This beautiful resort city on the south coast of Florida is famous for its luxury hotels and spas.
Some of the hotels have received a star from the Forbes Travel Guide. According to Yahoo, the highest awards were presented in early February 2024.
The Four Seasons, The Breakers in Palm Beach, and Eau Palm Beach Resort in Manalapan were among the top luxury hotels. In addition to hotels, their spas also deserve high praise - five for the Four Seasons and Eau Palm Beach spas and four for The Breakers.
It is noted that The Breakers received four stars, which is the second highest score, and Four Seasons and Eau received five stars for the second time.
In addition to them, restaurants also received high awards. For example, Florie's restaurant, which is located in the Four Seasons Hotel and has a Michelin star, became the only restaurant in Palm Beach County with such an award. Last year it was on the "recommended" list, and this year it jumped to a four-star rating.
It is known that the restaurant opened in 2019 in collaboration with the world-famous chef Mauro Colagreco, owner of one of the best restaurants in France - Mirazur.
How the Forbes guide is compiled
The rating system for hotels, cruises, restaurants and spas has been in place for 66 years. Nominees are vetted through anonymous visitors who rigorously examine standards and give their assessment. A five-star rating is the highest honor, and a recommended rating is the third highest after four stars.
In total, 40 hotels and 20 spas across Florida participated in the Forbes guide, but only 14 Florida restaurants were able to pass the rigorous evaluation system and receive the award.
In total, the Forbes 2024 guide includes more than 2,000 properties around the world: 340 five-star, 600 four-star, and 503 recommended hotels; 78 five-star, 121 four-star, and 59 recommended restaurants; 126 five-star and 201 four-star spas; and seven four-star and five recommended cruise ships.
