The first hotel under the Holiday Inn – the niu brand has opened in the historic center of Erlangen. Named Holiday Inn – the niu Cure, this new hotel is the result of a collaboration between IHG Hotels & Resorts and NOVUM Hospitality. The hotel is part of a major project that includes more than 50 similar properties planned to open in various cities across Europe.

The hotel offers 177 modern rooms equipped with free Wi-Fi, smart TVs with screen mirroring, and blackout curtains. Guests can also enjoy a hot buffet breakfast. The hotel combines stylish design with comfort, ensuring a pleasant stay for visitors.

Erlangen attracts tourists with its Baroque buildings and numerous cultural events. The city squares regularly host festivals and cultural activities, such as the annual Comic Salon and one of Germany’s oldest folk festivals, Bergkirchweih.

According to local authorities, the opening of the new hotel is expected to positively impact the city's tourism appeal. In the coming months, new Holiday Inn – the niu hotels are expected to open in cities such as Nuremberg, Frankfurt, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, and Potsdam. Outside of Germany, hotels will appear in Amsterdam, Haarlem, Manchester, and Vienna.

Some residents of Erlangen hope that the new hotel will attract more tourists and create new jobs. The first guests of the hotel praise its convenient location and high-quality service.
