Latvia’s national airline, airBaltic, has revealed its most popular winter routes for the 2025–2026 season from Riga, Tallinn, and Vilnius. Operating more than 90 direct flights across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, the carrier remains the key bridge between the Baltics and major destinations. This season’s travel trends reflect passengers’ growing interest in both winter sunshine escapes and short European breaks.

Winter Routes Overview:

  • From Riga: Barcelona, Dubai, London, Munich, Paris, Prague
  • From Tallinn: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Copenhagen, Munich, Vilnius
  • From Vilnius: Amsterdam, Dubai, Munich, Paris, Tallinn, Tenerife

In addition to popular routes, the airline has added new connections: Riga–Faro (Portugal), Tallinn–Madeira (Portugal), and Gran Canaria (Spain)–Ljubljana (Slovenia), as well as Molde (Norway). airBaltic has also expanded frequencies to Amsterdam, Dubai, and Egypt, ensuring greater flexibility and convenience for passengers during the winter season.

These routes make more destinations within reach this winter. The new flights to Portugal give travellers simpler access to the Algarve’s gentle climate and long stretches of coast. They also open the door to exploring Faro’s historic old town and nearby national parks, which stay pleasant even in the colder months. Flights to Norway and Slovenia will suit those interested in outdoor trips, hiking, or winter sports. More services to Dubai also give passengers extra choices for sunny getaways and onward international travel.

Beyond holidays, the wider schedule also benefits business and cultural travel. Daily flights to major European hubs like Amsterdam, London, and Munich improve links between the Baltic capitals and Europe’s main business and cultural centres. Passengers can look forward to shorter routes, smoother connections, and more straightforward journeys through the winter season.

airBaltic’s new winter programme underlines the region’s growing importance in European air travel. By combining practical routes with diverse destinations, the airline is helping more people discover both new and familiar places with greater ease. Whether it’s a weekend in Paris, a holiday in Tenerife, or a winter break in the Algarve, travellers from the Baltics now have more ways to explore.
