London Stansted Airport has rolled out a range of late-summer promotions, with multiple airlines revising fares for September and October. Jet2holidays has released packages to destinations including Mallorca, Costa Dorada, and Turkey, which include flights, baggage, and transfers. Pegasus Airlines and other low-cost carriers have also reduced prices on selected routes to Turkish destinations such as Antalya, Dalaman, and Bodrum.

Airlines serving Stansted have published the following seasonal discounts:

  • Jet2 – Flights to European destinations, including Corfu and Antalya, starting at £29 one-way.
  • Jet2holidays – Seasonal discounts of up to £50 per passenger on bookings through October.
  • Pegasus Airlines – Fares to Turkey between £8 and £55 for loyalty programme members.
  • Jet2holidays Packages – Options to Mallorca, Costa Dorada, and Turkey with flights, baggage, and transfers included.
"The weeks after the school holidays are one of the best times to travel, with great value offers, smaller crowds, and plenty of sunshine still to enjoy. These latest airline deals give people across the East of England the chance to book a last-minute trip at a very competitive price."
Adam Keeble, London Stansted’s Head of Marketing

Seasonal pricing adjustments are intended to encourage bookings outside of peak travel months. During this time, demand typically decreases, enabling airlines to manage seat occupancy more effectively while providing travelers with lower fares. Families and price-sensitive travelers are likely to gain the most advantages, especially those who can adjust their travel plans with ease.

Airlines are also promoting flexible booking policies, including deposits and changeable reservations, as part of these seasonal offers. This approach aligns with ongoing trends in the aviation sector, where carriers are providing options to modify or cancel bookings at a lower cost to attract travellers during periods of fluctuating demand.

The release of lower fares and package deals reflects wider dynamics in the European aviation market, where airlines aim to stabilise passenger volumes during transitional travel periods. September and October travel is increasingly positioned as a cost-effective alternative to peak summer months, highlighting the influence of price competition and consumer demand shifts on flight scheduling and fare strategies.
