Ryanair Boosts Winter Flight Options from Veneto with New Routes and Increased Frequencies

Ryanair has confirmed an expansion of its winter operations in the Veneto region for the 2025/2026 season by basing a sixth aircraft at Venice and Treviso airports. This update increases the total number of planes stationed in the region to four in Venice and two in Treviso. This change means more than 660 flights will take off every week, connecting Venice, Verona and Treviso on 62 different routes. According to the company, the total annual passenger traffic in the region is expected to exceed seven million once the new schedule is in place.

Ryanair says it will put 600 million dollars into this bigger winter schedule to keep it running smoothly. This funding will help maintain over 5,400 local jobs, including positions for pilots, flight attendants, and engineers. The addition of another aircraft reflects the airline’s efforts to strengthen its presence in northern Italy during the winter months and to respond to demand for more flights from Veneto’s regional airports.

From Venice, Ryanair will offer increased frequencies to several well-known European destinations. Flights to Barcelona are part of the updated program, with the city being home to landmarks such as the Sagrada Família and the historic Gothic Quarter. Dublin is another route included in the schedule, featuring sites such as Trinity College and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, which remain popular with visitors throughout the year.

Treviso airport will see more flights to Krakow, where the Main Market Square and the surrounding medieval old town are major attractions, particularly during winter events and seasonal markets. Marrakech is another confirmed destination from Treviso, known for its traditional Medina markets, the Bahia Palace, and the Majorelle Gardens, offering travelers access to a different cultural experience.

According to Ryanair, this expanded winter schedule will operate on 62 routes with more than 660 flights every week across Veneto’s three main airports. The airline expects this plan to support regional air travel growth and to continue serving millions of passengers annually while maintaining thousands of local jobs linked to its operations.
