Nuremberg Airport has given an early preview of its summer 2026 schedule, outlining close to sixty direct routes across Europe, the Mediterranean, and several major hubs. Many flights are already open for booking, giving people a better chance of securing the dates they want before demand picks up. Airport representatives note that the expanded choice aims to support both holidaymakers and business travellers during the warmer months.

The upcoming season brings a wide selection of Greek destinations, including Crete, Rhodes, Kos, Corfu, Thessaloniki, Preveza, and Kavala - the last of which joins the programme in May 2026. Spain also has a strong presence, with flights to Mallorca, the Canary Islands, and city destinations such as Alicante, Málaga, Valencia, Girona, and Barcelona. These additions build on existing links and broaden the airport’s southern European network.

Turkey remains strongly represented in the programme, with frequent flights to Antalya and added connections to Bodrum, Izmir, Kayseri, and Adana-Cukurova. Egypt keeps its appeal too, with Hurghada and Marsa Alam offering reliable warm-weather choices. Madeira and Bulgaria’s Varna give travellers a different mix of landscapes. Fuerteventura, Mallorca, and Antalya also receive extra weekly services with Marabu and Corendon Airlines, making departure times more flexible.

Italy and Croatia remain well represented with Bari, Naples, Palermo, Cagliari, Olbia, and Zadar on the list. Demand for Sardinia has grown enough for Marabu to schedule a third weekly flight to Olbia next summer. Eastern European links also expand, with routes to Tirana, Bucharest, Brașov, Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu, Timișoara, Chişinău, Skopje, Belgrade, Vilnius, and Budapest. These additions support better access for both leisure and family visits across the region.

The schedule gives travellers a wider choice of beaches, islands, historic cities, and cultural regions without relying on connecting flights, making weekend breaks and longer summer holidays easier to plan. With major partners such as Lufthansa, Air France, KLM, Turkish Airlines, Corendon Airlines, SunExpress, Ryanair, Pegasus, Wizz Air, and others, Nuremberg Airport is shaping a summer season with more direct options than in previous years. The final timetable will be published in early 2026.
