New Flights from Bucharest Baneasa Unlock Easier City Breaks Across Europe
Wizz Air has officially launched operations from its newly opened base at Bucharest Baneasa – Aurel Vlaicu International Airport, starting April 1st. This strategically comes with seven more routes to the airport such as daily flights to Naples, Budapest and London Luton. Additional services to Kraków and Abu Dhabi operate several times per week, offering a wider range of departure times and new travel options from a more central location in Bucharest.
The airline will further expand this network later in the year with new services to Warsaw beginning June 8th and Wroclaw starting on December 6th. These additions mark a continued investment in Romania’s air connectivity and offer travellers low-cost access to destinations across Europe and the Middle East. Fares for the new routes begin at RON 258, and tickets are already available on wizzair official website.
New Routes in Poland will give many the chance to see historical Old Town and cultural sights of Warsaw or interesting cornerstones of Wrocław's architecture along the riverside.
