Luxair to Launch New Route to Rotterdam on October 27, 2024

Luxair will introduce a new route connecting Luxembourg to Rotterdam starting October 27, 2024. This expansion will mark the inclusion of the Netherlands in Luxair's network just in time for the winter season.

The new route will operate five times a week, providing both business and leisure travelers with efficient access to Rotterdam and its surrounding areas. Notably, the route will enable quick trips to The Hague, Delft University, and the North Sea beaches of Zandvoort and Scheveningen.

Rotterdam, renowned for its modern architecture and rich cultural scene, will be just a 1-hour and 5-minute flight away on Luxair's De Havilland Q400. This aircraft is noted for its fuel efficiency, consuming 30% less fuel than comparable jets.

The schedule includes flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Tickets went on sale on July 3, with special launch offers available until mid-July. Luxair is also pursuing additional slots to maintain the route during the summer season of 2025.

This development underscores Luxair's commitment to expanding its European connections and providing high-quality service to its passengers.
