LEGOLAND® New York Resort is set to dazzle families this summer with its latest attraction, the Minifigure Skyflyer, introducing a novel gondola-style ride that bridges the Park's themed lands through an interactive journey in the sky. This pioneering venture, marking the first of its kind among LEGOLAND® Resorts, is designed to enhance the visitor experience with both excitement and ease.

According to BreakingTravelNews, in a strategic partnership, LEGOLAND New York Resort has teamed up with Belleayre Mountain, offering an early glimpse of the Minifigure Skyflyer to winter sports enthusiasts. This collaboration transforms the ski experience at Belleayre Mountain with two LEGOLAND-themed gondola pods on The Catskill Thunder Gondola, available through April, weather conditions permitting. These special pods, adorned with the vibrant Minifigure Skyflyer Pirate Party Pod imagery, promise a unique and immersive ascent to the ski slopes.

Moreover, Belleayre Mountain visitors who ride these themed gondolas have the opportunity to secure an exclusive offer. By scanning a QR code inside the gondolas, guests can access “Kids Go Free" tickets for LEGOLAND New York, allowing families to enjoy the full Minifigure Skyflyer experience upon its summer debut.

The Minifigure Skyflyer is designed to be more than just a ride; it's an interactive adventure from start to finish. Before boarding, guests engage in a pre-ride experience where they contribute to "charging" the ride's energy through physical interaction, leading up to a disco-themed boarding area complete with LEGO® brick disco ball lights. This immersive environment sets the stage for guests to participate actively, using their dance moves to "power" the flight, making the journey across the Park a memorable part of the LEGOLAND adventure.

Each of the seven uniquely themed Party Pods, ranging from pirate to space to disco themes, offers in-flight entertainment that encourages guests to immerse themselves in the imaginative world of LEGOLAND. These interactive experiences include learning pirate lingo, speaking in space alien languages, and engaging in sing-alongs, enriching the aerial voyage over the Park's attractions, including the panoramic views over MINILAND.

Stephanie Johnson, Divisional Director of LEGOLAND New York, highlights the Minifigure Skyflyer as a response to visitor feedback for more convenient Park navigation. The ride not only facilitates movement between the Park's levels but also fosters creativity, imagination, and physical activity through its engaging, dance-inspired concept.

This season, LEGOLAND New York Resort and Belleayre Mountain invite families to embark on a journey that blurs the lines between amusement and mobility, promising an enriching experience that leverages the joy of imagination and the thrill of discovery, setting a new standard for family entertainment in the travel and leisure industry.
