InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk to Open Summer 2024
InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, a renowned name in luxury hospitality under IHG Hotels & Resorts, is set to unveil the InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk in the summer of 2024.
Taking the reins as General Manager is Stefan Gruvberger, a seasoned hospitality veteran with nearly three decades of global expertise. With a track record of leadership roles across diverse hospitality settings, Gruvberger aims to curate enriching experiences that resonate with both visitors and locals alike.
Situated in the vibrant downtown Riverwalk district, this 21-story architectural building will offer 390 rooms, including 20 suites, along with 18,000 square feet of versatile meeting space. Adding to its allure are a Club InterContinental lounge and four distinctive dining and bar venues, promising an unparalleled experience for guests.
One of the hotel's highlights is its expansive meeting and event facilities, spanning over 18,000 square feet. From intimate boardrooms to a grand ballroom boasting panoramic views of the San Antonio skyline, the venue caters to a spectrum of gatherings with state-of-the-art amenities.
Complementing its opulent offerings are a myriad of luxurious amenities, including a cutting-edge fitness center, dedicated concierge services, and valet parking. The property's design, crafted by Leo A Daly in collaboration with IHG's internal design team, draws inspiration from the glamour of Hollywood's golden era, infusing mid-century elements with contemporary elegance.
Partnering with Heartwood Hospitality, InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk will host four distinctive dining experiences, ranging from an American brasserie to a rooftop oasis offering panoramic vistas.
