IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG), a leading global hotel company, has announced the signing of agreements for four new hotels in Spain. These new properties will add over 500 rooms in key markets, increasing IHG’s presence in popular tourist destinations.

Opening in spring 2026, the new Hotel Indigo Jerez de la Frontera will be the fifth Hotel Indigo in Spain. Located in the heart of Jerez, it will combine two historic buildings and offer 82 rooms. The hotel will feature a rooftop pool, bars, and a restaurant, providing guests with a unique local experience.

Another hotel, voco Granada, will open in spring 2026 and will be IHG’s first property in Granada. The 167-room voco Granada will be located near the historic center, close to transport links and the convention center. Guests will enjoy modern amenities and the brand's signature touches.

Scheduled to open in spring 2026, the Holiday Inn Express Seville – City will offer 148 rooms with the Express Start Breakfast, a fitness area, and a rooftop terrace. Its location between Seville's city center and the international airport makes it ideal for business and leisure travelers. Expected to open in late 2025, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sabadell will feature 130 rooms, including 20 long-stay suites. Located near Barcelona, it will provide easy access to the city and include amenities such as meeting rooms, a fitness center, and an outdoor pool.

IHG currently operates 55 hotels in Spain under various brands, including Six Senses, InterContinental, Kimpton, Hotel Indigo, voco, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn Express, and Holiday Inn. In recent years, IHG has opened more than ten hotels in Spain, with a strong pipeline of 12 additional properties. This expansion underscores IHG's commitment to providing diverse and high-quality hospitality services for travelers in Spain and beyond.
