In a novel approach to travel rewards, Iberia Airlines has announced the launch of its Iberia Plus Flight program, offering exclusive trips that can only be accessed by redeeming Avios points. This initiative is specifically tailored for Iberia Plus members, showcasing the airline's commitment to enhancing travel experiences for its loyal customers.

Starting this July, Iberia Plus members will have the opportunity to book flights to two of Europe's most sought-after summer destinations—Santorini, Greece, and Catania, Italy—using their accumulated Avios. The flights will operate on specific dates: Madrid to Santorini on July 7, returning on July 14, and Madrid to Catania on July 27, with a return on August 3.

The booking scheme allows for flexibility in Avios expenditure, with options starting from 2,100 Avios plus €73.80 for a one-way trip to Catania. This model enables passengers to customize their travel according to their Avios balance, reflecting Iberia's innovative approach to customer engagement and satisfaction.

This unique offer is set against the backdrop of Iberia's expansive loyalty program, Iberia Plus, which boasts over 10 million members. The program features various tiers, from Classic to Infinita Prime, and now includes Iberia Plus Kids, catering to younger travelers aged two to eleven.

This strategic move not only enhances the value of the Iberia Plus membership but also sets a new benchmark in the airline loyalty program space.
