Emirates Rolls Out Ramadan Services Across Network
Emirates has marked the start of Ramadan with a range of services for fasting passengers, both in the air and on the ground. Thousands of complimentary iftar boxes will be distributed onboard and at select boarding gates at the time of breaking the fast. The airline is also introducing special Ramadan meal boxes across all cabin classes on selected routes during the Holy Month.
On board, passengers observing the fast receive specially prepared Ramadan boxes alongside the standard hot meal service. These include dates, Arabic bread with dips, savoury sandwiches, sweet treats and laban. The crew determine imsak and iftar times during the flight based on the aircraft’s location, and the captain confirms when sunset has been reached. Prayer mats are available on request.

In Dubai International Airport’s seven Emirates lounges, traditional dishes such as lentil soup, Arabic mezze and lamb kabsa will be served, alongside sweets and Arabic coffee. These measures shape the journey well beyond the flight itself.
