Elevation of Adelaide Hotel to Premium Brand
In a strategic move, IHG Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with Pelligra Group and ONE7, has unveiled the upgraded positioning of their forthcoming hotel in Adelaide, set to welcome guests in 2024.
Initially introduced as a 130-room Holiday Inn & Suites, the Mawson Lakes property in Adelaide has undergone a noteworthy transformation during the development phase. Responding to heightened demand from diverse clientele, including corporate, leisure, and conference attendees, the decision has been made to rebrand the establishment as Crowne Plaza Mawson Lakes, reflecting the upscale quality of the build and the rising demand for meetings and events space.
Scheduled for a grand opening in the second half of 2024, the hotel will now boast 155 rooms, three expansive meeting spaces spanning 442 sqm, a fully-equipped fitness center, and a sophisticated bar and restaurant. This enhancement positions the establishment as a coveted destination for both business and leisure travelers.
Pelligra Group, already renowned for owning Holiday Inn properties in Werribee, Dandenong, and Melbourne Airport, is expanding its IHG-branded portfolio. This expansion includes the imminent opening of Crowne Plaza Carlton in 2024, in addition to Crowne Plaza Mawson Lakes and Holiday Inn Richmond.
