East Midlands Railway Unveils New Season Tickets for Business Travelers

East Midlands Railway (EMR) has introduced a new corporate season ticket program designed to benefit business travelers. This initiative is set to provide substantial savings and greater flexibility for those commuting regularly for work.

EMR's new offering includes three types of season tickets: Flexi, Monthly, and Annual. The Flexi Season Ticket allows eight return journeys within 28 days, catering to those with irregular travel schedules. The Monthly Season Ticket offers unlimited travel between selected stations for an entire month, ideal for frequent commuters. The Annual Season Ticket provides unlimited travel for a year, costing the equivalent of 40 weeks, thus offering significant savings. Notably, all season tickets will be issued on smart cards, reducing the use of single-use paper tickets and supporting eco-friendly travel practices.

In addition to the new season tickets, EMR has launched EMR TRAX, a platform accessible via an online portal or mobile app, designed to streamline the travel booking process for corporate customers. EMR TRAX allows users to book rail travel with any train operator at the best available prices, eliminating the need for multiple booking platforms. The platform also offers no sign-up or booking fees, a dedicated account manager, comprehensive reporting tools to monitor travel expenses, and CO2 tracking features, aligning with the growing emphasis on sustainability.
