Direct Winter Flight from Warsaw to Lapland Opens New Travel Opportunities
Polish airline LOT will begin operating a direct flight route between Warsaw and Rovaniemi in the 2025–2026 winter season. Flights are scheduled to start in late November and continue through early February, providing the first nonstop air connection between Poland and Finnish Lapland. Using Boeing 737 MAX 8 jets, the twice-weekly flights are designed to simplify travel to the Arctic at the height of the tourist season.
Until now, reaching Rovaniemi from Poland typically required at least one connecting flight, often through Helsinki or other European airports. Travelers can now reach Lapland faster and without the hassle of transfers, which is especially helpful during the busy winter season.
