Bratislava Airport to launch flights to the Caribbean and Vietnam
The airport of the Slovenian capital Bratislava will launch flights to the Caribbean countries - the Dominican Republic and Cuba. A flight to Vietnam will also be launched.
The flights will be launched in autumn 2023 following a contract signed between DER Touristik Eastern Europe and the Spanish airliner World2fly. This was reported by The Slovak Spectator.
"The value of the contract for this winter season exceeds €21 million," said Veronika Totova, the airport's spokeswoman.
Fischer and Kartago Tours travel agencies will operate three flights a week to the Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, and Santa Clara in Cuba from the end of October.
The aircraft will depart from Bratislava, fly to Prague, Czech Republic, for refuelling and then to its destination from Prague Airport. The return flight will first land in Prague and then continue to Bratislava.
